The guest dining room is available for your use with books and board games provided. Set in the old walled playground the garden and terrace offer a peaceful setting to relax and where breakfast and evening meal can be served on request. There is also a children\'s play area, sand pit and boules court. Under the shade of the 200 year old Horse Chesnut tree is the old school swing. The many plum, nectarine, cherry and apple trees offer an abundace of fruit and you are welcome to taste, if the season is right!

You can also find in Lezay a beautiful park and pond as well as swimming pool, tennis courts, horse riding and fishing. Locally you can visit the ‘Mines d’Argent’ and beautiful romanseque churches in Melle, the ‘musee de Ravranum’ at Rom and leisure lake at Celles-sur-Belles. A little further afield you can delight in the historic towns of Poitiers and Niort. La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast and Cognac surrounded by it’s acres of vineyards.
